A Tasmanian woman sustained a head injury that left her speaking with what sounds like a French accent. Family doctor Robert Newton believes Ms Rowe has the extremely rare Foreign Accent Syndrome.

I've suffered from the same syndrome for decades. Maybe I should seek medical help? Maybe I qualify for some sort of disability pension? After all, lots of people have been medically declared 'disabled' for no other reason than that they can't get out of bed on a working day!
